My wife passed away unexpectedly. I was not prepared both emotionally nor was there any pre-planning for her funeral. I felt lead to call Mesa Mortuary and that is where Michael Wallace the funeral director stepped in.

Michael is such a wonderful man in every way. He immediately took me under his wing and comforted me. He showed such great empathy for my situation. He took considerable time with me which I am certain would not have happen if I had used a large company's services.

Michael never acted like a high pressure salesman. Instead he carefully walked me through the process and my options.

I received fantastic communications from Michael. Seldom did a day go by that he didn't call me to see how I was doing and to discuss various aspects of the arrangements.

His daughter, Laura expertly prepared my wife's clothing and makeup. She was very meticulous and performed her work like an artist. Only when she was completely satisfied with the results did she ask me to approve of her work. Laura made my wife look so perfect.

Words alone cannot fully express my profound gratitude to Michael and Laura for all they have done for our family.

Nobody wants to leave a review when they lose someone.I wanted to share my experience with Michael and his Family at Mesa Mortuary.My Dad and I went to make Pre Arrangements for my Stepmother Diana.As fate would have it she passed late the next Morning.Around 3:00 Am Michael made all the Arrangements, met us at Hospice and helped us through one of the most difficult times in our life.He was there from beginning till now.Still weeks after her departure he still calls to check on us and to see how were doing and if we need anything.He was there to help us with all the affairs.He even said many of my Stepmothers favorite Verses from the Bible.if you are looking for fancy Marble Floors and Chandeliers it might not be the right choice for you,but if you are looking for someone who is caring, sincere ,compassionate and will be there from beginning to the end to help you through your loss then you won't regret calling Michael.

The price I was given was great for 1 & the gentleman I worked with was easy going , understanding,a truly nice person to work with. He was up front with every thing. Some 1 I am happy to tell other's about.The guy work's practically day & night to make sure that your happy with the services your paying for. Michael and his Family at Mesa Mortuary had helped me when I lost my Wife Diana and got me and my Son through a difficult time.I recently lost my Brother and reached back out to Michael and he was able to handle everything for me.Mesa Mortuary took the long ride up to Rifle to bring my Brother back to have him buried here at the VA Cemetery.For some reason the VA was having trouble locating his DD 214 Papers,and Michael was very helpful in getting the Documents.Once again Michael and Mesa Mortuary were very Kind,Considerate,rRspectful and Understanding at a trying time.Please consider this if and when you have to make this choice.

I work at a funeral home in Plano, Texas and had one of our loved ones pass away in Colorado and we reached out to Mike Wallace to help get our loved back to Texas. I called a well known funeral home when my grandpa passed away and felt like I was treated like a number rather than a person right off the bat. I then called Mesa Mortuary and spoke with Michael and my outlook on a tragedy turned into a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
I had never planned a funeral and thought I had plenty of time, but it didn't happen that way. Michael and his family were with us, guiding us, and helping us with the upmost respect and grace. Michael kept me grounded when I felt so lost. He was there from the start to the very end.
