ELLEN V. ROBERTS

ELLEN V. ROBERTS Passed away peacefully on the morning of November 24, 2022, in Grand Junction at the age of 101 years.

The native of Branson Missouri, had lived in Fruita for many years, and was a true farm girl, she had been a farmer for many years, as well as a caregiver.

She was instrumental in the planning and fundraising for the Fruita Community Center never missing a planning meeting.

Ellen loved to make people laugh, at one time she had been bashful, then after she made people laugh she said, " I am not bashful anymore " 

Ellen did so much for so many, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The City Of Fruita, named Ellen Roberts Day on her birthday August 21.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 1, 2022, at 10:00A.M.at Mesa Mortuary Chapel, 2935 Patterson Road corner 29 3/8 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado.

Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, Fruita.
